DBS BANK – (13/07/18)

Placement cell had arranged an interview for Arts Students with DBS Bank in the College Campus on 13/07/18. A member of the HR team from DBS Bank interviewed the students. Two passed out students from the 2018 batch of the BBA Department attended the interview and were selected and placed in DBS bank for the post of “Marketing Executive” Successfully.

UNIVERSITY JOB FAIR (14TH & 15TH JULY 2018)

University of Madras conducted a job fair; Annai Veilankanni’s College students were instructed to attend the job fair through Placement Cell.

The programme proved to be very useful for the students pursuing final year. 300 students have attended the programme.
The internship programme serves as an eye-opener for students, ‘ On Working Environment ’ and helps them gain practical knowledge, by developing relevant skills and experience in a particular field.

TEAMWARE SOLUTION (16TH JULY 2018)

The Placement Cell of Annai Veilankanni’s College for Women had provided a part-time job opportunity for all the final year students in our College premises on 16th July 2018.
Mrs Dr Anita Rajendran, Principal, Annai Veilankanni’s College for Women delivered the inaugural address and motivated the students to perform well in the interview.
The Teamware solution had conducted an aptitude test for 75 students, out of which 18 students were selected to face the interview. The face to face interview was conducted for the selected candidates by 4 HRs from the HR Department of Teamware Solution and among them, 9 were provided with an offer letter for a part-time job.

IDBI BANK (21ST AUGUST 2018)

Annai Veilankanni’s College and IDBI bank jointly organized a placement for students on 21st August 2018.Dr.S.Devaraj, Chairman, Annai Veilankanni’s Group of Educational Institutions, welcomed the gathering.
HR team of IDBI bank interviewed on our College Campus. There were two sessions (Group discussion and Face to Face interview) which were handled by the HR team Mr V.Vignesh, Mr.S.Gopi, Ms E.Illakiya, Mr M.Venkatesh, Ms M.Sivaranjani respectively.

500 students pursuing final year attended the interview out of which 200 students were selected after the first session (Group discussion) and in the final session 86 students were selected for the post of Team Managers and Team Leaders.

CAPGEMINI (26 / 09/ 2018)

Annai Veilankanni’s College and Capgemini company jointly organized placement for students on 26th September 2018. Dr S. Devaraj, Chairman, Annai Veilankanni’s Group of Educational Institutions, welcomed the gathering.
HR team interviewed our College Campus. There were two sessions (aptitude test and Group discussion) which were handled by the HR team 500 students pursuing final year attended the interview out of which 32 students were shortlisted.

BALEEN MEDIA (10 NOV 2018)

The Placement Cell of Annai Veilankanni’s College for Women had provided a part-time job opportunity for all the final year students in our College premises on 10 November 2018.
Mrs Anitha Rajendran, Principal, Annai Veilankanni’s College for Women delivered the inaugural address and motivated the students to perform well in the interview.
BALEEN MEDIA HR team had conducted aptitude tests for BBA and Computer Science students, out of which 9 students were shortlisted and 5 students got offer letters.

ONE POINT SOLUTION (03 December 2018)

The Placement Cell of Annai Veilankanni’s College for Women had provided a part-time job opportunity for all the final year students in our College premises on 03 December 2018.

Mrs Dr Anita Rajendran, Principal, Annai Veilankanni’s College for Women delivered the inaugural address and motivated the students to perform well in the interview. One Point solution HR team had conducted an aptitude test for the final year students, out of which 50 students were selected for customer support. 20 students were selected for coding.

HTC GLOBAL SERVICES (10 December 2018)

The Placement Cell of Annai Veilankanni’s College for Women had provided a part-time job opportunity for all the final year students in our College premises on 10 December 2018.

Mrs AnithaRajendran, Principal, AnnaiVeilankanni’s College for Women delivered the inaugural address and motivated the students to perform well in the interview.
HTC GLOBAL SERVICES HR team had conducted an aptitude test for final year students, out of which 150 students were selected. The company provides Bus facilities to the part-time employees from campus.

JOB FAIR (15 February 2019)

Annai Veilankanni’s College for Women Organized the Job Fair on 15th February 2019.
Dr S. Devaraj, Chairman, Annai Veilankannis Group of Educational Institutions rendered the Presidential Address. Dr D. Dev Anand, Secretary, Annai Veilankannis Group of Educational Institutions presented the keynote address Mrs Delphin Devaraj, Vice-Chairman, Dr D. Johny Christopher, Director, Annai Veilankanni’s Group of Educational Institutions graced the occasion.
Dr. Anita Rajendran, the Principal welcomed the gathering. The Chief Guest insisted the students to develop their skills and attitudes to acquire job and equip themselves with updated knowledge to meet their industrial needs. Dr J. Nomila Merlin, Vice-principal introduced the Chief Guest.
Mr. Sathish Natarajan, Assistant General Manager, Human Resources, HTC Global Services India was the Chief Guest for the Inaugural Session.
Ms. W. Malini Prema Kumari, Placement Co-ordinator & Assistant Professor (Dept. of Computer Science & Applications) proposed the Vote of Thanks.
Placement Cell of AVC organized placement training for a week prior to the Job Fair and had invited around 34 prominent companies to take part in the Job Fair, Companies like HTC Global Services, Eureka Forbes, Calibehr, Team lease, AGS Group of School, Tata Strive, Golden Enterprises, Mahindra Pride, One Point Solutions, Talk Media, First Source, Radan Technologies, Apollo Pharmacy etc., Around 700 Students including Alumni of AVC participated and were given the platform to get employed in various sectors and collected their offer letters.
