Learning Resource Centre
The College Library is open to all members of the institution. Every student automatically becomes a library member upon admission. One borrower card is issued to UG students and two borrower cards to PG students. The library follows an open access system for general books and a closed access system for reference books, journals, magazines, and periodicals.
The library houses a rich collection of books and journals in Commerce, Management, Economics, Accounting, Computer Science, Mathematics, Biochemistry, English, Tamil, and General Studies. It also includes newspapers, back volumes of journals, project reports, and career guidance books, all systematically arranged for easy access.
The library aims to promote reading habits and knowledge awareness among students and staff.
Working Hours: 8:20 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Library Rules & Regulations

1. Identity Cards
Students must wear their Identity Cards while entering the Library.
2. Signing Register
Every user must sign the register available at the entrance.
3. Access to Resources
Students can access all the resources in the Library.
4. Handling Books
Students should avoid hiding or tampering with Library books.
5. Replacement Policy
Books must be replaced or paid for with fine. If part of a set is lost, the full set must be replaced.
6. Dues
Hall Ticket / Transfer Certificate / Degree Certificate will not be issued if dues remain.
7. Library Access
Only bonafide students of the college are allowed inside the Library.
8. Silence
Complete silence must be maintained inside the Library.
9. Personal Belongings
All bags and personal belongings must be kept at the property counter.
10. Book Placement
If unable to replace books properly, leave them on the table.
11. Responsibility
Users are responsible for books issued and must return them without damage.
12. Text Book Issue
Textbooks may be issued for 15 days only. Late return will attract a fine.
13. Permission
No library material may be taken outside without proper permission.
14. Reference Materials
Reference books, journals, and dissertations must be used inside the Library.
15. Lights & Fans
Switch off lights and fans when leaving the reading hall.
16. Leaving College
Students and staff leaving mid-term must return library books.
17. Late Return Fine
A fine of Re.1/- per day will be charged for books returned after the due date.

Open from 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM on all working days except weekends and college holidays.
Orientation Programme
Conducted at the beginning of each academic year to familiarize students with library resources and services.
User Training
Training programmes for students and staff on OPAC usage, e-resources, consortia, and online journals.
Lending Services
Available to students, teaching and non-teaching staff. Books are issued for 15 days.
Reference Services
Wide collection of encyclopedias, dictionaries, journals, and reference materials for consultation.
Reading Room
Well-furnished reading room with seating capacity for 100 users and staff assistance.
Book Bank Facility
Students may borrow up to 5 books for a maximum period of 3 months.
Internet & E-Resources
Access to e-journals, e-books, N-LIST (INFLIBNET), and free academic online databases.
Syllabus & Question Bank
Syllabus copies and previous year question banks are provided for academic reference.
Photocopy Facility
Photocopying of library materials is permitted at ₹1 per page. External materials are not allowed.
