On 20/02/20-Thursday Annai Veilankanni’s College for Women, celebrated the cultural extravaganza- AVC FEST- cultural competitions for Annai Veilankanni’s Group of Educational Institutions. The Mega Event was organized by the Fine Arts Committee of Annai Veilankanni’s College for Women. Rangoli, Mehandi, Vegetable carving, Bridal Makeup, Song, Dance and Mime were the events. Dr. S Devaraj, Chairman, Annai Veilankanni’s Group of Institutions presided over the function. Dr. Delphin Devaraj, Vice Chairman, felicitated the event. Dr. D. Dev Anand, Secretary, Dr. D. Johny Christopher, Director, Mrs. Sridevi Dev Anand and Dr. Deva Bala Nirmala Excecutive Committee members graced the occasion with their presence. Distinguished Guests, Mrs. Hema Subramaniam, Popular Zumba Trainers Ms, Pooja, Ms. Dhanya Mr. Corley, Mr. Tanson, Ms. Pooja Mohan, Ms. Shantha Ajay, Ms. Taisha Parveen , Ms. Aarthi Darbar fame Ms. Jeeva Subramaniam, Mr. Sanu, and many more from Media judged the events and added colour to the occasion with their performance. Nearly 700 students participated in the events with full enthusiasm bringing innovative ideas on stage. The Department of Commerce, Annai Veilankanni’s College bagged the overall trophy, and Annai Veilankanni’s College for Education were the Runner up. The event was a grand success.
