The Department of Computer Science and Applications at Annai Veilankanni’s College for Women hosted a seminar on “Do It Yourself – Project Development,” led by Dr. C.V. Suresh Babu. The session aimed to enhance students’ cognitive abilities and develop essential skills like effective communication, critical thinking, and collaboration for real-world success.
On August 13, 2024, the Biochemistry Club at Annai Veilankanni’s College hosted Mr. Suthakar S. from Valliappa Foundation, who highlighted career opportunities in medical coding and billing, along with placement prospects at companies like Omega Healthcare and Ajuba.
The Department of Business Administration and Mahrm Annai Veilankanni’s College for Women organized a successful program on “Building Professional Foundations” on 06.08.2024, focusing on enhancing corporate readiness through discipline, confidence, teamwork, and resilience. Students demonstrated significant improvements in their professional skills as a result.

The session highlighted the use of bioenzymes from biowaste as organic cleaners and their industrial applications.
On August 8, 2024, Annai Veilankanni’s College for Women hosted a guest lecture on “Effective Communication and Empowered Expression,” led by Dr. S. Priya Dharshini. The session focused on enhancing communication skills and pronunciation, emphasizing clarity and self-awareness.
On June 13-14, 2024, Annai Veilankanni’s College for Women hosted a Faculty Development Programme featuring Dr. S. Devaraj and Dr. D. Dev Anand, with resource persons Dr. Karuppasamy Ramanathan and Dr. Devi Kabirdoss. The event focused on enhancing faculty skills and insights.
On September 25, 2024, the Com-Tech Club at Annai Veilankanni’s College hosted an IIC 6.0 session on Intellectual Property Rights and IP Management for Start-Ups, highlighting the significance of copyrights, patents, and trademarks in fostering innovation. Students engaged actively, learning about the critical steps of conception, recording, and publishing ideas to enhance their entrepreneurial skills.
